What is Wim Hof Method Training?

Wim Hof Method is a combination of meditation, breathing exercises, and exposure to cold that can help you regulate your stress levels. Wim believes that EVERYONE is capable of doing the same exceptional things his body allows him to do. That’s why he developed the Wim Hof Method – a combination of breathing exercises, cold therapy and commitment – to give YOU the tools to take control over your body.

What is Temazcal?

A temazcal is akin to a sweat lodge ritual and will take place in a circular, dome-shaped structure made of mud and stone. It is a traditional healing method which is used to encourage reflection and introspection. While the body rids itself of toxins through sweating, the spirit is renewed through ritual. The temazcal is thought to represent the womb and people coming out of the bath are, in a symbolic sense, re-born.

It is a combination of the words tema , meaning “steam” or “bath,” and calli, meaning “house.” The leader or guide of the temazcal experience is usually a curandero (a healer or medicine man or woman) and may be referred to as a temazcalero.

Benefits of the Temazcal

Flushes out toxins – Sweat helps to push out toxins — a catch-all name for generally harmful bodies that enter our systems. Getting rid of them can help to improve your overall well-being.
